Hi! 😊 I'm Alexa, and I'm from Bogota, Colombia.
I am a certified tutor in Spanish as a foreign language and a professional in Business Administration. I have over 10 years of experience in business, interviewing, and customer service. I have taught 3.600 lessons in general and business Spanish to adults focused on work, travel, or as a hobby.

It is always important to learn and practice grammar to make the correct use of words and phrases, but we will always learn this in context, not just words. 😊
I use resources such as online books for reading, grammar, and practicing, my material, and use authentic material such as YouTube videos, podcasts, news, and articles of interest.

Alexa was great. She had a professional slide presentation in English and Spanish which made the path to fluency clear. There was no judgement. There was no pressure. Thankfully, I could switch from English to Spanish as needed. I'm certain that will occur less and less. I'll definitely have more lessons with Alexa.

Alexa is an amazing teacher - very approachable and patient, but with the ability to help you to understand different grammatical concepts and use them effectively. She assigns appropriate homework to reinforce the learning and is always willing to work through challenges. Highly recommend!
