Professional Translator & Native Spanish Speaker | Argentine Spanish from Buenos Aires I’m a professional English to Spanish translator from Argentina. I was born and raised in Buenos Aires. I studied technical-scientific and literary translation at university and I’m a professional linguist with over 6 years of experience teaching Spanish. I grew up listening to music all the time, which is actually what pushed me to learn English. I just wanted to understand the songs I loved. These days, I still love music (and going to concerts whenever I can). I also used to do figure skating (on wheels, not ice… Buenos Aires isn’t exactly known for snow) I live in Mataderos (which means “slaughterhouse”… very on brand for Argentina 🥩). I’ve worked with more than 140 students from all over the world, so I’m used to adapting to different learning styles and backgrounds. My lessons are informal, relaxed, and 100% tailored to your goals. I create a comfortable space where you can speak naturally and build confidence without pressure. I know how challenging it can be to learn a second language, because I’ve been through the process myself. Our first meeting was very open ended which I liked. Lots of questions about likes, dislikes, family, and culture differences between the United States and Argentina.
