Qualified teacher with a PhD and over 30 years of international teaching experience at all levels. Hello, I’m Ben. With over 30 years of teaching experience spanning primary, secondary, university, and Master’s levels, I bring a wealth of expertise to English language education. I hold a PhD in education from the University of St Andrews, and recently spent a year in Japan teaching English at both elementary and junior high schools. My approach is informed by a deep interest in how people learn, and I strive to make lessons practical, engaging, and tailored to each learner’s needs. I am committed to helping you build confidence, communicate naturally, and achieve meaningful progress in English. Let’s work together to reach your language-learning goals. I look forward to meeting you soon!
