CELTA-Certified British English Teacher | 7 Years' Experience | Build Confidence & Fluency Hello! I’m Alev. I’m from London, England. I’m British and also have a Turkish Cypriot background, so my native languages are English and Turkish. I’m a CELTA-certified online English teacher and I also hold a BA degree in French. I’ve been teaching English online for about seven years to students from many different countries. I specialize in teaching beginners, helping them build a strong foundation and gain confidence in speaking. I also support intermediate students who want to improve their fluency and communicate more naturally. Having learned French as a second language myself, I understand the challenges of learning another language and the importance of feeling comfortable and confident when speaking. My lessons focus on practical communication and structured practice. I gently correct mistakes during conversations and make notes so we can review them. I help students improve their grammar, vocabulary, word choice and pronunciation through conversation, articles and structured activities. I also create my own PowerPoint materials with vocabulary, grammar exercises, speaking activities and role-plays. My lessons are supportive and adapted to your level, needs and goals.
