I'm UK born and live in London. I have taught for over 20 years ESOL, EFL and FS up to Level 2. I am a qualified CELTA tutor and also hold a teaching qualification as well as a BA in Linguistics and Spanish.

Me as a Teacher

My teaching is learner centred and I am happy to help both beginners and those of a higher standard with their needs, whatever they may be. I have traditionally focused on preparing learners for ESOL and Functional Skills exams and have taken learners from beginner to Level 2!

My lessons & teaching style

It's customary to prepare presentations or short videos, but this depends entirely on the learner and what they want to achieve. For many just being able to talk in English is what they need to help them achieve their goals and I believe it is important to try to speak from the beginning.
