About Me

My name is Zoila García. I was born in Guatemala, the fourth of eight children. I like to walk, read, cook and to get to know new cultures. I speak a good amount of English. I have a bachelor's degree in Law and Social Sciences and was the first woman in my village to graduate from university.Me as a Teacher
I worked in a Spanish language school for twelve years before starting to work for Italki. I understand very well the problems students have learning a new language.My lessons & teaching style
I focus on real-life applications of Spanish. I can help you with grammar, homework, vocabulary, conversation, writing practice and anything else you might need. My schedule is open and flexible. I have experience teaching all levels of Spanish from beginners to intermediates to advanced students.

I just had the best subjunctive workout with Zoila. In addition to being a wonderful conversationalist, she is an excellent grammar teacher. She is always patient and helpful, and provides wonderful practice exercises both in class and for homework.
