Another fun and interesting hour of talking Spanish with Miguel. Knowing that an Italki hour is scheduled gives me an extra incentive to practice my verbs and vocab ahead of time. I recommend Miguel for his very clear and slow Spanish and his joyful way of teaching.

Miguel is willing to engage in conversation across a wide variety of topics which helps the conversation flow more naturally. Today we covered holiday traditions, favorite holiday meals, hometown traditions, vacation, Christmas movies, and more.

Miguel is very patient and willing to help a student improve.

Miguel and I have been meeting since the pandemic. He was really the one who got me speaking more fluently in my learning journey. Six years down the road, chatting with him keeps my Spanish up when I am not using it as much during the summer. Six years of "Let me tell you THIS story" has turned into a very nice friendship, as well. He's patient, he will listen to the same stupid story six times if you forget you said it already, he helps you with idioms and ways to sound more native, the list just goes on and on . . . Highly recommended!
