I absolutely love learning Spanish with Elma! She's very understanding and encouraging. I highly recommend her as an instructor.

Elma is very knowledgable and easy to talk to. Right from the beginning, she was able to give me some ways to practice my conversational Spanish after class. I look forward to my next session with her.

Elma is wonderful. I have very specific goals I am working toward for school and she takes them as seriously as I do. She gives me a variety of materials to work with outside of class: videos for shadowing, audio for listening, as well as written exercises and references. She also teaches most of our classes completely in Spanish (as opposed to a heavy mix of Spanish and English), which forces me to work on both my conversational and listening skills. She often gives me harder material to push me past my level, and I've benefited immensely from it. I was pretty diligent about my self-study before working with Elma, but having her as a teacher has tremendously accelerated my progress. For that I am so grateful. Italki is lucky to have Elma on the platform. She has a true gift!

I enjoyed my lesson with Elma, and I am more hopeful about learning Spanish.
