I am from the west of England, although I spent 2 years in Asia, where I taught children English. I also have many years experience supporting disabled and dyslexic students in a university. I really enjoying meeting and working with students, and seeing them flourish.
I pay attention to detail, and notice students greatly reducing grammatical errors and improving their intonation. Many students with proof reading requirements for academic or professional writing return to me again and again. I provide tracked suggestions, comments and, if needed, ask questions to clarify meaning. This greatly enhances the students chances of clearly expressing their true ability.Me as a Teacher

Lessons are relaxed and student focussed so we are always working in a way that suits your individual needs and style of learning.
- Conversation practice with feedback and correction being provided : students can choose a conversation topic, or I can bring one to the session (or we can just talk very informally). Optional homework can be given eg watching a short video or listening to a podcast to discuss at class.
- Correction of written work: spelling, grammar, fluency, and if required, coherency suggestions.
- IELTS: preparation for speaking and writing.
- A structured but fun children's programme to develop all the necessary English skills (please enquire if interested).5.0
