I’m passionate about languages and love guiding my students with patience and a positive attitude. I combine grammar with conversations about both everyday and deep topics. I believe learning works best when you enjoy it, so I make my lessons both fun and challenging.

Me gusta usar material auténtico para exponerte al lenguaje real: videos, recortes periodísticos, imágenes. My lessons are fun, dynamic and objective-oriented. In the first interview, we will talk about your interests and needs to make sure I prepare a taylor-made class. I like using authentic material to expose you to real language: videos, news, pictures.

In my ~35 lessons with Lu, I have come to observe that Lu is a gifted teacher. On the technical side, she is well prepared; has lesson plans, homeworks, and expertise with the subject matter. This alone would make her a great teacher. However, what makes her truly special, is that she understands that learning needs to be fun, and makes it so: through her personality or the games, comics, and learning activities she chooses.

¡Fue una gran primera clase con Luciana Maestra! Acababa de visitar Argentina, así que fue fascinante hablar sobre la geografía, cultura y diversidad linguística de allí.
