In my ~35 lessons with Lu, I have come to observe that Lu is a gifted teacher. On the technical side, she is well prepared; has lesson plans, homeworks, and expertise with the subject matter. This alone would make her a great teacher. However, what makes her truly special, is that she understands that learning needs to be fun, and makes it so: through her personality or the games, comics, and learning activities she chooses.

Luciana is a great teacher who is always patient and enthusiastic. She has been working with me each lesson using a variety of approaches that build speaking, writing, and listening skills. She mixes some open-ended questions into each lesson, which is helping me to build my conversational abilities. Homework is targeted and helpful, yet short enough to easily fit into my schedule. She gently corrects mistakes and never makes me feel self-conscious. I highly recommend her!

Luciana is excellent - knowledgeable, passionate, and skilled at making learning enjoyable. She's patient, kind, and goes above and beyond. Thanks to her guidance, I’m making great progress in Spanish.
