¡Hola! I’m a passionate Spanish teacher from Colombia with over 4 years of experience helping students around the world, both online and in-person. Teaching has been an incredibly rewarding journey, and I’m excited to continue sharing the beauty of the Spanish language.
Fluent in English, French, and currently learning Portuguese, I believe in the transformative power of languages. With an ELE certification, I create customized lessons for adults, children, and adolescents, ensuring each student receives personalized attention.

I’ve had Valentina as my Spanish tutor for a little over a year now, and I can say she is the best! I started with very little knowledge of Spanish and she was patient and helped me in the beginning stages of learning to the point I’m at now. Others are impressed with my Spanish, and I don’t believe I could’ve gotten to the level I’m at by this point without her. It shows. She helps to encourage and motivate you. She gives homework to keep you on top of it all as well! I strongly recommend Valentina to anybody learning. She does an amazing job with explaining and giving examples as well. I look forward to the lessons with her and the days that I struggle, she has a lot of patience as she understands that everyone makes mistakes in the learning process and that’s okay.

After my first lesson Valentina made me feel super comfortable speaking to her and from then she has been super supportive and fun during my lessons. Valentina is an amazing person and an amazing teacher, she really cares about you as a student and wants you to succeed. She is always very detailed with her lesson plans and she tries her best to make sure you really understand the material. I started taking lessons with her around 7 months ago and I have seen my level of spanish skyrocket. One of my favorite things about her classes is you always feel really comfortable speaking, and she will cheer you on and help you with whatever you want to say. On top of all of this, Valentina can talk to you about many different topics and you will quickly start to see that you have learned a vast amount of useful vocabulary. She is also really funny and a very joyful person, it is always great to learn with someone who genuinely wants you to accomplish your goals!
