About Me

I'm a 24-year old Dutchy with an international mindset. I love traveling, experiencing new cultures and meeting people. This has brought me to different parts (and languages!) of the world. When I'm living/staying somewhere I think it's great to (at least) be able to communicate daily basics in the local language. A language just tells so much about the culture! In how many languages can you say hello?

Me as a Teacher

All students differ, so I believe the teacher should be adjusting to the preferences and level of the students at all times. As a tutor I had experience with students at different levels which emphasized the importance of personalization of classes. No one learns the same way, so no one should be taught the same way!

My lessons & teaching style

I think effective teaching includes a lot of joy. In order to succeed, you need to commit yourself to a job. This commitment will be way easier when you actually enjoy doing the job! So why not making succeeding in a language enjoyable? I think it's very important to have fun and celebrate small improvements in order to keep motivated for learning a new language. The hard and fun work will pay off in the end!
