Hello! My name is Naomi. I am an energetic, friendly and qualified native American teacher from Chicago, Illinois - USA. I have traveled and have lived in various parts of the world including South America, North Africa, the UK and Japan. I am currently living in Portugal.
I love languages! I enjoy learning new languages to be able to communicate with people all over the world. I currently speak (Brazilian) Portuguese and Arabic. Currently, I am developing my Portuguese knowledge because I would like to became a licensed translator. So I understand the challenges people face when learning a new language and I can help you to overcome those.Me as a Teacher

I am CELTA certified with over 8 years experience teaching English to adults and children in the classroom and I really enjoy it. I work primarily with Beginner and Intermediate learners (A1 - B2+) but I am able to teach all learners.
As a language learner myself (Portuguese), I know and understand the difficulties people face when learning a new language and am here to help.My lessons & teaching style
My lessons will be dynamic and entertaining, making sure students can keep up with the content I am teaching while enjoying the class.
Most of my lessons focus on speaking, reading and listening. Before our lesson I can supply you with materials such as online articles, audios or reading texts. In addition, I can provide grammar material to help you learn the more technical aspects of the language. Throughout the lesson, I will send corrections and examples so that you have the opportunity to practice after the lesson. Should you require it I can also provide homework assignments for further learning. In our lessons, I will encourage you to speak and practice, while having fun as well.My teaching material
