Hi! I’m Fliss, a qualified TEFL teacher, and specialise in IELTS/TOEIC exam prep and Academic English for teens/adults. I also offer conversational practice at all levels. I love learning languages and am fluent in French (Level C1 Certified), and speak Spanish (Level B1 Certified). Therefore, I understand the struggles and rewards of learning a language.

I am a fun teacher and always have plenty of subjects to discuss with my students, which help expand their English vocabulary. This is particularly important for students hoping to study or work in an English speaking country. Having studied French to Level C1 and Spanish to Level B1, I have a lot of experience in learning languages. So, I am aware of the challenges, frustrations and difficulties associated with learning a language! However, it can be so very rewarding too. There is nothing better than being able to communicate in a different language. It feels amazing, and is very good for the brain! I am very patient, encouraging, and full of enthusiasm.My lessons & teaching style
I specialise in Academic English and exam preparation lessons for adults and young students sitting TOEIC, IELTS exams. Lessons are structured to meet exam prep needs. I can adapt lessons to accommodate neurodiverse students. I also offer help with job and university place applications. I also offer general conversational practice classes. These can include discussions, debates, and presentations about specific subjects. It is through discussing diverse subjects that you enhance your vocabulary. I correct grammar errors, suggest alternative words, and help with pronunciation. I also offer role-playing tasks to students seeking to work in the UK and/or need help with interview techniques.My teaching material
