I am an older student and an introvert. Taking classes learning a new language and placing myself in a situation where I know I am making tons of mistakes is a challenge for me. Ma is excited about classes, engaging, and extremely friendly, which makes for what could be uncomfortable situation into a very enjoyable experience.

I have had four lessons with María Fernanda. She is very profesional and always well prepared for the lessons. The clases are fun and we have had some great conversacional practice, which is what I really need. Today we covered some tricky grammatical constructions at my request. I am very happy to recommend as a tutor.

After a month or two of working with Fernanda, I find that she is a great teacher, capable of encouraging you to learn more, encouraging you to engage in what can be a stressful situation - an hour of speaking a language that you are trying to learn (with various degrees of success). She is patient, caring and a wonderful teacher.
