Hello, I’m Kate, a British English teacher with over 13 years of online teaching experience. I have a Master’s degree in Computing Science and a degree in Economics, and I enjoy working with curious, thoughtful learners from many different professional backgrounds.
My students often tell me they feel relaxed speaking with me, even when discussing complex topics. I believe language improves fastest when you feel comfortable experimenting, making mistakes and gradually building confidence.
I particularly enjoy interesting conversations about culture, ideas and real-world topics while helping students develop clearer, more natural English.

One of my strengths is helping learners understand why something works in English, not just correcting mistakes. I enjoy breaking complex language into simple strategies that students can use immediately.

For IELTS students, I focus on the practical skills examiners want to hear: clear structure, precise vocabulary and confident speaking.
