Certified by Cambridge and trained at International House London, I offer authentic British English with a friendly, approachable style. I speak Portuguese and Spanish, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language and can support you in your journey. My aim as a teacher is to get my students to express themselves as naturally and as easily as possible. My own experience as a language learner guides me, as I know what has worked well for me, and also the challenges I’ve had. I created methods and resources for my own development that I use to help my students learn English, especially those who speak Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian. My lessons are centred around conversation and confidence building. In order to achieve this, there is lots of listening and reading comprehension involved in my classes, as this is the area that many language learners struggle with, especially if they are not in an English speaking country.
