I have been a Chinese teaching volunteer for overseas students at college for 4 years and a tutor in a language training institution for kids for 3 years. I have made friends from Thailand, Pakistan, Equatorial Guinea, etc. I also organized and participated in some cross-cultural events like visiting local attraction, making paper cuttings and introducing “Yum Cha” culture of Guangdong. The experience really helps me have better understanding of different cultures.

In today's generation, the use of Mandarin is becoming more widespread in Hong Kong, as a result fewer people will speak Cantonese in the future.
