·KoreanCustomised Lessons 👩🏻🏫 4+ years professional English academy/teaching experience! Hi, I'm Martina! I have 4+ years of professional teaching experience, mainly teaching 1-on-1 classes to adult students at a premier English academy in Seoul, South Korea. I have taught 1000s of classes to 100s of students, including business English, test prep, conversation, and more. I'm passionate about using all of my expertise to help you to achieve your English goals. My formal education is a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from King's College London, and I recently finished my Master's degree in Social and Cultural Psychology from the London School of Economics. Although I'm a professional teacher, don't expect lessons with me to be dry or strict! I am talkative and friendly, and I always start classes with a good catch-up, but I'm meticulous in giving corrections and formal teaching as well. My ideal student is someone who wants to engage with native English content and is passionate about incorporating the language into their lives as much as possible! I will record corrections, grammar, and vocab feedback throughout the lesson - you don’t have to take any notes yourself! After each lesson, you'll walk away with lots of important corrections and teaching customised to YOUR needs. I make customised lessons for each student, and also have lesson plans for Business English, conversation topics, videos and articles, and games so you can challenge yourself with new subjects and vocabulary. I hope to meet you soon!

I started Business English lessons with Joanna in October through the “Let’s Talk Corporate” programme, and the course has been tailored to my job from the very first session. She took the time to understand my daily work as a database engineer in the utilities sector, then built a twelve unit course around real topics such as metering applications, Oracle PL/SQL, billing logic and system architecture. Every lesson comes with conversation cards featuring realistic role plays between colleagues, with key grammar structures highlighted in context, vocabulary lists translated into Italian and useful professional phrases. A checklist of phrases to use during each session keeps the practice focused and measurable. Joanna is receptive, encouraging and always open to feedback, adapting the lessons whenever I suggest improvements. I would highly recommend her to any professional looking for Business English that is truly relevant to their work.

Another great lesson with Ben! Today we focused on TOEFL Reading, especially fill-in-the-blank exercises and inference questions. Ben patiently explained how to identify key clues, avoid common mistakes, and approach challenging questions more effectively. His detailed explanations and encouraging feedback really helped boost my confidence. Thanks again, Ben!

非常喜欢Alan的课，待人亲切随和，课堂氛围轻松幽默。同时呢很专业负责会认真倾听我的表达，耐心帮我纠正语法和发音的错误，针对我的雅思口语问题会给出很实用的建议，然后很善于引导我拓宽思路，而不是直接给我答案，上完课感觉得到自己有在明显的进步，真的很幸运能遇到这样的老师！加油加油，还有十几天举要考试了，希望我的口语能有七分呜呜呜！

My son is very excited to have lessons with Teacher Jazz, as she always prepares fun activities and customized games. Lessons are highly engaging and creative. Games are full of cartoon characters my son likes and this makes lessons more attracitive to him. In today's lesson, he was very excited to see one of his favourite characters - Luigi Ghost Busters during the exercises. Teacher Jazz is friendly, nice and patient, mildly encouraging him to speak English. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

Aysha has been teaching my two children, particularly my daughter Michalina, for the past three years, and I couldn't be happier with her dedication and professionalism. She is an exceptional teacher – patient, warm-hearted, empathetic, and genuinely committed to her students' progress and success. One of her greatest achievements was successfully preparing my daughter for the national English exam at the end of primary school, where Michalina achieved an outstanding 98% score! This result speaks volumes about Aysha's teaching skills and ability to motivate and support her students. What I appreciate most, however, is the wonderful relationship she has built with my children. They both genuinely enjoy their lessons with her, which, as a parent, means just as much to me as their academic achievements. After three years of working together, I can wholeheartedly recommend Aysha to any parent looking for a knowledgeable, dedicated, and truly caring English teacher. Thank you, Aysha!

My 7-year-old child is taking storytelling classes in English here. Rather than seeing it as a study session, my child truly enjoys this time as a chance to freely express their thoughts. Whenever my child comes across unfamiliar vocabulary, the teacher explains it in a way that is super easy to understand, helping them make the words their own. The teacher also encourages using a variety of sentence structures, which has really expanded my child’s expressive language skills. Best of all, when the class ends, my child always comes out with a big, happy, stress-free smile and asks me right away to book the next session!

I highly recommend Keiran as an IELTS teacher. I took several lessons with him before my IELTS exam and it really helped me to feel more confident. Keiran helped me with my answers and showed me how to organize my ideas, especially for Parts 2 and 3. We practiced a lot of different questions and he always gave me useful feedback about my mistakes. After several lessons I felt that I could speak more naturally and without long pauses. Finally, I got 6.0 in Speaking, compared to 5.5 in my previous exam. It was exactly what I needed, so I'm really happy with the result. I really enjoyed our lessons and definitely will continue studying with him. Thank you, Keiran, for your help and support!

I took two lessons with July. In the first one, she quickly identified my main grammar weaknesses and then sent me a clear, well-organized development plan. The second lesson was fully focused on one topic (plurals and articles), with lots of practical speaking tasks - describing photos, making lists, talking about work - so I had to use the target grammar again and again. She is well-prepared, structured, and keeps the lesson on track. Recommended for anyone who wants to fix recurring grammar mistakes through speaking practice.

I am very happy with Ché. She created a class format to meet my learning goal (increasing my vocabulary), and it is working wonders on me! She is friendly and clear in her explanations. My vocabulary has increased significantly since I started classes with her, which have become one of the best parts of my week. Thank you, Ché! 💖
