Manon is a wonderful teacher! Her lessons are always interesting, enjoyable, and well-prepared. We've been studying together for over six months, and I can really see how much I've improved. I started with almost no French, and now I can actually have conversations, which feels amazing :) We spend a lot of time speaking during our lessons, and Manon always brings interesting topics, texts, and activities to discuss. J’ai beaucoup aimé les cours! Arris est très communicatif, patient et prend toujours le temps d’apporter des explications supplémentaires quand c’est nécessaire. Les cours sont bien organisés et très professionnels, tout en se déroulant dans une atmosphère détendue et agréable. Je me suis notamment préparée avec lui pour le DALF C1, en particulier pour la production orale. I've had the pleasure of learning French with Maïli for a few lessons now and cannot recommend her enough. Somehow, she strikes just the right balance between letting me ramble on in French and jumping in to correct common mistakes and words that she notices I struggle with. Her style of teaching is great for both building confidence and learning the particularities of the language simultaneously, and I've certainly noticed my French really improve since we started lessons. On top of that she's always friendly and enthusiastic to teach, and always has a nice idiom for any occasion --- very effective for making one's French a little more natural!

Romain is a phenomenal teacher! He’s kind, engaging, and an exceptional conversationalist. I love the balance between structure and flexibility in his lessons. The materials cover diverse topics while leaving room for spontaneous conversations. As someone who asks tons of questions, I appreciate how clearly and patiently he explains things! Since I speak Portuguese and English, connecting French to Portuguese makes a huge difference. Concepts I was trying to learn for months, Romain explained them in less than four minutes! Beyond French, his extensive knowledge makes conversations profoundly enriching. I feel like I’m learning about life, culture, and different perspectives, not just a language. I also appreciate his approach to corrections: he gives room to find your own words and build confidence. After just a couple of lessons, I feel like I’ve progressed beyond what I could’ve imagined! I leave every lesson feeling fulfilled and accomplished. I can’t recommend him enough!! 😊

Josie is amazing! I really wanted to improve my conversational skills, and I chose her because she seemed dynamic and fun in her video. I’m now more than 20 lessons in and I can definitely confirm that she is not only engaging and easy to talk to, but also incredibly diligent, energetic, smart, thoughtful and hilarious. I expected that we would simply chat in French for an hour each week, and we definitely do that, which has improved my speaking ability immensely. But Josie also goes out of her way to make her lessons as comprehensive and personalized as possible. I moved to France a year and a half ago, and she has been very thoughtful about structuring lessons that will help me to navigate daily life in France and give me exposure to important cultural references. She also tries to make my French less formal and textbook, and more colloquial and natural, which I appreciate immensely. In short, she’s pretty much the idea French teacher!

After 4 sessions I am feeling incredibly confident that I will be able to reach my goal with her help, if I am willing to dedicate the time and effort. I have an anxiety streak, especially around learning new things with an audience but her approach has made this very easy for me. I learned how to organize my speech and how to speak more fluently in French. Also, Rim encouraged me to think of different angles for each topic.
