MD, MSc & WHO Health Specialist | Professional & Conversational English & IELTS Instructor I’m a medical doctor and health specialist at the World Health Organization with over 15 years of experience working in international environments, including in Switzerland and Germany. English has been my main working language throughout my career, and I achieved an overall IELTS Academic score of 8.5 with minimal preparation. Alongside my work, I’ve taught English through Berlitz, GCSE-level instruction, and volunteer work with children and migrants. I enjoy helping people express themselves clearly and confidently, and I bring a structured yet relaxed approach to every session. As a teacher, I combine experience from both ends of the spectrum: developing and delivering trainings for WHO staff and healthcare professionals, and teaching English in informal settings with underprivileged children and migrant communities. Eduaction and international trade graduate I am Amina Farah from Algiers, living in London. I love nature, swimming, reading, and adventures. I have a bachelor degree in English literature from university of Algiers 2, and a Master's degree from University of the west of scotland. I also hold a degree in international trade from the Algerian chamber of commerce and industry. My native language is Arabic, my second language is French and English is my third language. I have teached English for four years in person and most of my students were teenagers. I love to create a relaxed and safe atmosphere and be friendly, even make jokes sometimes. It is very important to feel compfortable and safe to make mistakes when learning a new langage. I also teached English for specific fields such as Management. And basically I tailor my lessons to the student needs or goals. For standard levels learning I use international programs or curriculums. I add or delet from them according to my students needs. Also focus on their goals while strenthening important areas of the language. Using a friendly approach and a background of my students, I do my best to make them feel compfortable create a connection based on trust and confidence.
