My name is Manola, and I’m a native Italian speaker girl , with many years of experience teaching Italian to children and adults. After living in Fuerteventura for several years, working as a tour guide and private teacher, I decided to returned to Italy and dedicate myself to teaching. I speak Spanish, English, and a French, so that there won't be problems in communication between us. It doesn't matter what the students' starting level is, as I organize my lessons according to their interests and needs. My lessons mainly focus on conversation because I believe that this is exactly the best key to really learning a foreign language. It's obviously important the grammar knowledge, but it is only through dialogue and interaction that peolple have the opportunity to grow the vocabulary and improve pronunciation. I think a lot can be done alone with books but what makes talking to a native special is that one goes beyond the (often boring) book and is able to interact and have an exchange with the person. I studied languages in school and for a year in university. I know Italian grammar well and I love grammar in general. I translated for years and got to realise how hard it can be to use the language but also how beautiful Italian is. I do not teach children or complete beginners. I don't have the expertise and don't want to ruin the experience for them!
