Certified teacher of Italian and Spanish, with 10 years of experience I've been working as a language teacher since 2014. I've been teaching to students of almost all ages and educational degrees, from secondary school to university, and in language schools both in Italy and Spain. I adopt a communicative approach, without dismissing the importance of focusing on specific aspects of the language when needed. I love to transmit not only the language, but also the cultures of Italy and Spain. For this reason I love to use movies, musics and so on during the classes, and I hope that our lessons will give you a taste of these countries. And that you will learn more than just a new language.

I am a qualified teacher of Italian for speakers of other languages, with a degree from Siena University. I began teaching in 2009, and I can't stop it. Home and abroad, I like to meet students from all over the world with an interest in my native language, to encourage their development and success.

I think Italki is a perfect occasion to improve foreign languages because it offers what usually is very rare in traditional classes: a single person dedicated to you and the possibility to speak, freely and with no hurry. Conversation is the most important factor to improve a language. Moreover, I think I can make my students feel comfortable, at ease and relaxed during my classes. My studies also led me to learn about the adults' world and their ways of internalizing new information when it comes to foreign languages.During my University study case, I had the chance to design an English course for absolute-beginner seniors, which was revealed to be the litmus test of the approach effectiveness I'd been working on up to then. I prefer to be seen as a facilitator of learning rather than a teacher,for my aim is to support others in their journey of language exploration by providing tools and offering expertise to raise consciousness of the new language system.

No need to be afraid of making mistakes—it’s all part of the learning process! That being said, immersion is the best way to learn. Ultimately, it's my goal to ensure that your time with me is USEFUL (after all, you are paying me $$). I tought Italian language abroad and in Italy too, at the Giovanni Pascoli High School in Piacenza. Then I taught and organized Summer Courses to foreign students for many years and I have been giving private lessons in my home.
