My aim is to make this process as pleasant and fun as possible. I deal with many students around the world by giving language lessons, both in person, at the Italian language school Accademia Leonardo in Salerno, and via Skype. My passion for languages and my studies brought me to understand that languages are not just simple codes ruled by grammatical norms, but that they are actually used to express ourselves as individuals with different backgrounds and cultures.

Ciao a tutti! Sono Natascia e ho cominciato ad usare Italki come studente per apprendere le lingue straniere, in particolare mi sono focalizzata sull'inglese e sul francese. My first formal teaching experience came in 2016 at Xiamen International English School in China. Later, in Shanghai, I taught Business English to adult beginners at Big Mouth Foreign Languages Services and worked with students of various ages at Thomas English, while also teaching Italian at LEMON Language School. Do you speak Italian ? ...Certamente! Tutor informale e divertente! I think to be a very patient teacher, I try to create the best empathy with my students to learn a new language in a very relaxed way. I already taught english for beginners in a city course some years ago and I realized that I had no problems explaining and maybe repeating things to my students, I was very happy to see them learning step by step, fullfilling their language expectations, that was a very great result!

I will be both serious and humorous, depending on the topics we will tackle. I consider lightness a positive value, both to help in setting up a nice relationship and to promote easy learning. At first, we would need to get to know each other. I let "students" know me a bit more, then I would mainly let them choose the content and guide the conversation, for I think the best way to become fluent in speaking a language is to dismiss the fear to make mistakes and launch oneself into the practice.
