By the way, I made my own group in Telegram about my country and language where I share the jokes about it, mentality and interesting facts. I like to meet new people and help them to know my language and make the firsts steps. The first practice as the teacher was 20 years ago. It was nothing more than a conversational Russian practice help, but with a few grammar explanations and new words and phrases. It happened to be very effective. After university, I started taking teaching Russian more seriously. I put more emphasis on grammar and practicing speaking skills to make well-constructed lessons. But at the same time, I learned to build an individual approach to every student. I worked in a summer language school in Russia for some time, where I taught English as a second language. learning Russian with songs 🎵 I'm providing my own unique method of learning Rusian with songs which I developped through work with my students. I basically simplify complex things and complicate simple things when needed. It makes my method rather adjustable to the level of the student. Moreover, I highlight the importance of speaking practice. Our lessons are a dialogue in which we elicit the vocabulary of the studied songs. Not mere translation but this interaction with the imagery and contexts lead to deeper understandring and further the ability to use new words and prases. We do little grammar, though. Just little bits, so that it won't create any confusion.
