I’m not a professional teacher, but I learned English on my own, so I truly understand the exciting yet challenging journey of mastering a new language. Certified by the Moscow State University teacher, teaching children from the age of 8 and adults I've been working as a Russian teacher both online and in person for the past 4 years. I graduated with a Master's degree in Art history focusing on regional studies and guided tours. I completed a Moscow State certification course and qualified as a teacher. In my classes we will cover all of the language learning competencies to make sure you have a well-rounded skill set. I have experience working with students from all over the world and enjoy seeing my students' progress.

I worked at school and University as a teacher of French and English. But with development of the internet, learning by Skype became an interesting way to study something new. I have worked as a company teacher for Indesit, Whirlpool, GE, Otis, Toyota and others so far. I only teach adults. Most of my students are Russian language enthusiasts or business people. Russian for beginners I started my career as a private tutor and then taught English to teenagers at a private language school while working on my master’s. I then realized that I’d love to teach Russian as a foreign language too so I signed up for a special course at my alma mater. Then I taught English and Russian at a university and I also have experience of teaching corporate clients. At the moment I’m working at a language training centre and as a private teacher.

The thing which makes my teaching helpful is that I pay attention not only to the lesson itself, but also to the preparation and follow-up tasks which you can receive as a homework assignments. As I work as a teacher in everyday life too, I know how important it is to consider different aspects of methodology and language learning and acquisition such as spaced repetition, student talking time, different kinds of approaches, i.e., lexical, and other.
