Learning a language is a long-term commitment, and sometimes the motivation drops off or something unexpected happens that stops us from studying as often as we would like. It is totally okay and necessary to take a break at times, but many students do not have a plan for getting back on track, which can result in major language loss that takes months to recover, and staying motivated is more challenging.
