The sentence is describing the light that they saw above them and also comparing it to a light that you might know or be able to visualise - the light from angels or God that is described in the bible. When a light is described to be blinding and like it came of the bible, you should expect it to be light that is golden crisp and almost like you can't see through it but it feels like there is a presence around it, just like when angels appear in the bible!

I 'm thankful for my children they make me happy and strong, I'm very blessed to have them. My life would not make sense without them.

Aug 22, 2021. I ran 12 laps on the track this evening, and that was 5000 meters in total, I ran quite slowly though. The reason for my slow speed was that I ate too much for dinner. 🤣 I usually have a light dinner, but today I was with a friend who is going to leave and work abroad very soon. Maybe we won’t see each other for several years and I am happy for her because she will be experiencing a new life in a new place. After we parted ways, I headed back to my flat. There I felt full and uncomfortable. So I changed and went to the track, where I burned out my calories by running 🏃‍♀️. While I was running, I felt lucky that we have a track on the campus so we can run safely and freely. In this big city, we have a lot of buildings, traffic, businesses facilities, and people, while we have limited free sports venues and amenities.
