I recommend you to download "Anki" and next search on line a "mazo" of words for engineers. This is a very well program, I have it in my computer, but there's the app too for smartphone.

You could watch engineering videos on YouTube and make a list of all the idioms, vocabulary, and slang that you do not understand. Good luck!
