Almost of us know that too many processed food, drinks and other foods have excess of sugar, fats and calories. Also, we know that vegetables and fruits have many chimicals and cold meats aren’t entirely healthy because animals don’t have the best conditions or feeding. Well, recently in Mexico, PROFECO who is an Institution that protects and promotes rights consumer has forced Companies to add new information on their products (black labels). This was news everywhere because some products don’t meet health standards and were taken removed off the market. For example, I used to buy almond milk, then I changed it for coconut milk. I am a person that always reads “Health information” of all products to choose and buy the best option (yes! my shopping groceries take much time). So, past weeks, I went to the market because I was going to buy milk and other groceries, so I saw the new black label on almond milk “Contiene edulcorantes no recomendable en niños” (Contains non-recommended sweeteners for children). I was very shocked because in the past I thought that this product was healthy, I had read the “Nutrion facts” before and it was the reason why used to buy that product. The worst of this is many people don't care about this and they still buy the same products. The best of this is the companies should improve or changed their products for healthier ones. What is your opinion about this? Do you buy healthy products or not?

Something I've learned living in the US is that people truly don't care. If people were used to something, and then you tell them the thing they're used to is bad, they're more than likely not gonna change whatever it is they were doing. I'm not even saying I'm above this behavior, I've done it too... Que ensayo tan maravilloso, bien escrito! Y si quieres hablar más de asuntos así y practicar tu inglés, sígueme y envíame una mensaje. Saludos de los estados unidos!
