I went to a small town called Oberon with my friends during our last trip. We stayed
up late there to celebrate the New Year from December 31st, 2020 to January 1st,
2021. The distance between Sydney and Oberon is neither too far nor too close. I
remember we took a large sized coach with 48 seats at 9 a.m in Sydney.
Before our departure, we bought many things (stuffs is weird in the plural, use things instead), like snacks, packed meats, some
spirits, champagne?, distilled? water, coke, etc, and brought a medicine kit and other
necessary gear used for traveling. We put them all into my backpack. It was
12a.m when we arrived at Oberon. It was time for dinner (for dinner or to eat dinner). I treated my friends to a
big meal, which included seafood, raw salmon fish slices, gravy eggplants, oil
fried lobster, grilled mutton, pasta noodles, fruit, and a vegetable salad at a
famous specialty restaurant. It was so delicious and tasty. Afterward, we checked
out Oberon's downtown and well-known significant and terrific cathedrals,
which looked very dignified and saintly/holy. After that, we played a chess game,
grilled barbecue, chatted, and watched a drama series and a movie. What a fun
vacation. I liked the street statues, local culture, natural surroundings, and
quiet life there. I am also more fond of sincere people and humble customs. I
hope I can travel to a different region this year.
