Keeping a relationship is hard and needs a lot of effort.
Being sincere is so important. We show the real self to one another. Pretending cannot help the relationship to last long. We may want to give our partner the best impression at the beginning of a relationship, and so we may do something to "adjust" ourselves to be the person that our partner likes. For example, if the partner adores spicy food, you may not really appreciate it, but still, you would try some in order to make your partner happy.
What's more, having common core values keep the relationship for a longer period of time, and even lasts for an entire life. When the couple has similar view or stands on situations that happened, they easily find rapport between each other. Their intimacy is likely to increase.
