Hi everyone, is there any difference between using “coger” and “tomar” and where to use them?

Hola Tom, en Español de España coger significa agarrar una cosa, sujetarla. Tomar significa comer o beber algo. Pero hay veces que pueden usarse ambas por ejemplo si estas conduciendo pueden decirte 'toma la segunda salida' o 'coge la segunda salida' ambas son correctas.
