One of the most famous local festival in Iran is a new year eve. We celebrate the first day of spring season as a beginning of new year. In this festival we have some traditional ceremonies. We serve Iranian special cousin for dinner. We are invited to grandparents’s home and all family get together and celebrate. There some tradition such as praying in the moment of begging new year and giving some gifts to children and young people by elder people.
