If you visited Peru, I want to know about your experience in my country or if you want to travel to Lima or any place of Peru, I'd like to know which one? and why?
I spent a month in Perú recently. I greatly enjoyed Lima. I especially liked eating churros rellenos from Manolo and picarones from the cart in Parque Kennedy while petting the cats. I also liked walking along the cliff near the ocean.
I spent some time doing the tourist thing. I visited Arequipa which I thought was a very charming city. I also visited Puno and Lake Titicaca which was interesting, but "el soroche" definitely affected me. I felt like a horse had kicked me while I was staying in Puno. From there I went to the Valle Sagrada which was very nice and then the inevitable Machu Picchu trip.
I then stayed in Cuzco for two weeks and attended a Spanish language school. I liked Cuzco very much and had a good experience at the school, but my favorite part of the trip was that I got to spend a lot of time with my friend Tania with whom I had chatted many times over Skype. It was really great to finally be able to hang out with her in person.
I am not sure that I will be able to go back anytime soon, but I would like to. I miss the wonderful food, the beautiful countryside, and my friend. I would like to see more and meet more people there.
