This is a positive expression for when you have met someone new and developed a good relationship with them very quickly. It can be used in any context, including business, with neighbours, social friendship, and romance.<o:p></o:p>

I don't know if I can say that you knew how to use all the "hit" idioms correctly, Eva, as obviously cramming them into one paragraph affected its naturalness! But a native speaker could have written something similar to you if they had set themselves the same task.
