To get someone to do something ,get someone doing something?
Hi,I'm wonder is there any differences in terms of meaning between aforementioned?

Yes. They differ because the first one means you're putting or asking someone to do something for you and the second one means you saw someone doing something. "To catch someone red handed"

But the second way isn't so common or the right way to say that. It would be more like: to catch someone doing something
