Tips for organizing sentence in English
Hi there! It would be wonderful to have some advise from English speaker.
Here are my questions how to organize the sentence in English. It’s better not to repeat the same phrases and words in conversation and writings, right? What about the subject word of the sentence? I’ve heard that it was better to avoid the sentence starting with the person as the subject word. For instance,
 - I feel blue because I have the presentation.
 - The presentation makes me feel blue.
Which sentences do you feel more natural or commonly used? But at the same time, the subject word should not be too long? I might have too much question within one topic but it would be appreciated if I could have some opinion from those who speak English. Also please do not hesitate to correct me if I have some grammar mistakes with this question. Thank you!

I would like to add some clarification. The typical English language sentence structure is subject - verb - object. However you should use the passive voice (object - verb - subject) when the object is the most important thing in the sentence. That is why your second sentence is better: you want to draw attention to what makes you feel blue, so "the presentation" is the most important thing and should come first.

I recommend focusing strongly on content, in other words, ideas and on organising them in a logical sequence. The number one objective of a reader is to understand the ideas in a text in sequence. With that in mind, it might make sense to ask for feedback on a paragraph of, say, four or five sentences.

Sentence two would be the best one to use.

1) - I feel blue because I have <s>the </s>presentation.
 2) - The presentation makes me feel blue.

Sentence number two is the generally accepted word order or Subject-verb-object order of English sentences.
That you will be taught.
However a lot of speakers or writers do not follow this order and the sentence can still be understood.

1 .I feel blue because I have to give a presentation.
this sentence still makes sense. You become the subject and not the presentation.
Sentence 1. The subject (you) have to make causes/makes you to feel blue.
Sentence 2. The subject (presentation) you have to make is makING you feel blue

Hello Owen,
Thanks so much for the clarification. I totally got it. My main point should come first in a sentence. I recently found that everything worked completely different in my language. It’s interesting to know the differences but at the same time it’s tough for me to use English fluently. Appreciate your comment!
Best,
Kazi
