When do I use "sana" and "bana" and when "beni" and "seni"?

Well, I know the sentence "Seni seviyorum", but in English beni and bana mean the same and seni and sana as well. So when do I use which one?

Thanks in advance! :)

Hi Layla,

You use beni/seni when it's the object of the action (eg. I love you = seni seviyorum). It's a direct object.

"Sana/Bana" translate as "to you/to me". It's the indirect object.

Hi Layla,

I will give you some examples so you can understand it more clearly.

"Bana gel" means "come to me"

"Sana geliyorum" means "I am coming to you"

"Seni gördüm" means "I saw you"

"Seni özledim" means "I miss you"

So, the difference is, "bana, sana" are "to me, to you"
