مرحبًا، أنا طالب في جامعة في استراليا، أدرس اللغة العربيّة لأني أريد أن أذهب إلى دولة عربية.

The first sentence is a bit ambiguous, if you'd like to refine it further.. 

"I'm a college student from Australia" would be

أنا طالب جامعي من استراليا 

and "I'm an Australian college student" would be

أنا طالب جامعي استرالي

as for the second, I assume you meant you would like to visit an Arabian country? if so..

أود زيارة بلد عربي

would be a better expression, since..

أريد = want 

أودّ = would like

الذهاب = to go

زيارة = to visit

دولة = not sure which is a better equivalent but it involves the country as a political entity, while

بلد = is more people and geography- oriented?

way to go, though! Your initial sentence structure was good enough
