Writing a letter of complaint Dear Sir .... , I am writing with regard to the online DVD store's customer service. Recently, six days ago to be exactly, I filled the enrolment form to be a member of your online store in order to buy some dvd's which I was looking for wearily. However, being your company's member resulted in some problems to me. The first problem is the huge increase of spam I have received since I became a member. Everyday there are at least new five emails from your company's email and I tried to stop them but your website does not have any option or information about how to prevent that spam. The second problem is worse than the first one. I have discovered, by accessing the online DVD store, the website does not protect the member's personal details. It's possible to find personal information about any member registered in your website. Full name, birthday date, address, email address, telephone number, credit card number, all these information is visible to anyone who want to see it. As a matter of fact, the website does not allow me hiding, erase or even modify these data. According to the facts I mentioned here, I am requesting that you delete my account from your company's website. I would do it myself if it was possible, but this option is not offered by your website. I am really disappointed regarding your services. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Yours faithfully, Me Guys, it's just a hypothetical situation =P I tried to write this letter as formal as I could. Plz consider this when u correct me. thx xoxo

The structure of your letter is the perfect format for a letter of complaint.  Have a look at the changes in word order and practice with your use of "that/which".  Keep up the good work, if you had sent this letter the company would certainly be able to understand your complaint and the way it is set out would ensure they take notice even with some errors.  Well done.

Overall I like the idea that was flown our from this letter of complaint. The person who reads it will get the message, but may need to read through a few times to capture the meaning, as in the fourth line is unclear for the reader to read.

Writing a letter of complaint

Dear Sir .... ,

I am writing with regard to the online DVD store's customer service.
Recently, six days ago to be exactly, I filled the enrolment form to be a member of your online store in order to buy some DVDs which I was looking for wearily.

However, being  your company's membership system [you are explaining is the system, not the member, as the problem does not belong to you] resulted in some problems to me.

The first problem is the huge increase of spam I have received since I became a member. Everyday there are at least five new emails [new is placed before emails to describe what type of e-mail from your company's e-mail (either e-mail or email is fine, however you have to be consistent in writting the format) and I tried to stop them but your website does not have any option or information about how to prevent that spam.

As a matter of fact, the website does not allow me to hide hiding, erase or even modify these data.

According to those (plural, past) facts I mentioned here, I am requesting that you delete my account from your company's website. I would do it myself if it was possible, but this option is not offered by your website. I am really disappointed regarding (sounds odd to use regarding, I would recommend towards) your services.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

Yours faithfully,
Me
