Sommerschulung/Sommerfortbildung (I think you´re talking about a training that was organized by your company? Than it is a "Schulung" or "Fortbildung")

Seit letzten Dienstag bin ich von einer Sommerschulung an einer Ölstelle im Westen Desert zurück (Nouns and Sentences begin always with a big letter, the word "I" only got a big letter at the beginning of a sentence. Additionally I think the letters ö,ä and ü aren´t on your keyboard ^^, so nobody would judge you. I can´t understand if Westen Desert is a special place or placement like west-Desert?),
