Hola, Bárbara! Your words are beautiful, as always. On that: "hankering" isn't really a beautiful word. It's like sometihing guys do. "He had a hankering to go to the bar." "He was hankering to return to Canada." You might want to explore "desire," or "wish," or "yearning." :-)
