我的汉语是自己用书和在网上学习的。
(wo de hanyu shi ziji yong shu he wangshan xue xi de)
我的上一份/个工作是在一个英国公司做销售xiāoshòu经理。
(wo de shang yi fen gongzuo shi zai yingguo gongsi zuo xiaoshou jingli)
My previous job...
wo zai na ge gongsi gonzuole si nian: I worked for that company for 4 years
wo (ting) mingbaile: wo tingdongle
我（听）明白míngbai了。
Wo mei xuexi hanyu liu ge yue le: I haven’t studied Mandarin for 6 months.
他们退休tuìxiū了。: They are retired
tamen bu gongzuole: they don't work anymore
Tamen mei gonzuole: they lost their job
Week: Xingqi OR 周zhōu OR 礼拜lǐbài
Tuesday: Xingqi er OR zhou er OR libai er
I didnt know that: wo bu zhidao
let me write it down: rang wo xie yi xia OR rang wo xie xia lai?

(xing) zuo: zodiac
shuangzi: twins
shuangzizuo shi zui hao de (xingzuo) !
wo tongyi: i agree

shi... de structure emphasizes 4 things (pattern to be used only in past):
1. time
2.place
Ex: ni de hanyu shi zai nali xuexi de?
3.who
Ex: ni de shouji shi shei/shuei mai de: who bought your phone?
4.how
Ex: ni jintian shi zenme lai de: how did you come here today?
"de" has to be the final word
Not to be confused with:
这本书是我的。
xianzai shangdong shi ji dian: what time is in Shandong?
有时候我1点睡觉。
you shihou: sometimes
sometimes I go to bed at 1 am
Wo shui bage xiaoshi jiao: I sleep 8 hours
women xianzai shang hanyu ke: we are in chinese class
Wo he ni yi yang: the same as you
yi yang: short version
香蕉xiāngjiāo: banana
墨西哥Mòxīgē: mexico

所有的suǒyǒude (adj.) : all

“guo” after the verb for exp in the past
