You use the auxillary verb.

E.g. Have you seen this?

Yes, I have.

Do we have any fruit.

Yes, we do.

Are you okay?

Yes, I am.

Interesting. Do you have a dream ? Yes, i do have a dream. That would be the complete answer so ... So is it Yes i do. or Yes i have. or both ? I like yes i do better. Just saying :)
