I can't have male best friends! I've come to this conclusion since I've been experiencing the same thing with all the male friends I've been close to. It started to happen when I was in highschool, I've always had lots of female friends but just a few male friends. When I was in 6th grade I had three male bestfriends, I was very close to them and we had so much fun together, somehow at last I found out they were all in love with me and as expected our friendship changed a lot after that. It constantly happened through my highschool days so I decided not to be very open around my male friends. It didn't work either, for some unknown reason my male friends were even more into me when they knew they didn't have a chance to date me. In my last year of highschool I found a new male friend and I was worried he would get confused about us but as the time passed our friendship was still the same, I was really happy I could finally have a male friend but I suspected it was because he might be gay. Just a few months ago he told me he's gay so now I get why we're still good friends. I remember not too long ago a friend said I friendzoned him in such a nice way he couldn't even feel bad, it was funny to hear that, he said it seemed like I had experience in friendzoning and he wasn't wrong. Today an old friend asked me to date him and I was pretty shocked, his ex-girlfriend is my friend so the only idea of dating him was strange. It took a while to make him understand we could only be friend, he's very persistent. I don't know if I'm giving my male friends a wrong impression or if I'm being too nice to them, Anyway I've found that is very awkward and nowadays I'm trying to be careful of how I treat my male friends, I hope to find more good male friends in the future. Thanks in advance for your corrections and comments.

I can't have male best friends!

I've come to this conclusion since I've been experiencing the same thing with all the male friends I've been close to. It started to happen when I was in highschool.  I've always had lots of female friends, but just a few male friends. When I was in 6th grade, I had three male best friends.  I was very close to them and we had so much fun together, but somehow at last I eventually found out they were all in love with me and, as expected, our friendship changed a lot after that. It continued to constantly happened through my high school days, so I decided not to be very open around my male friends.  That didn't work either, as for some unknown reason my male friends were even more into me when they knew they didn't have a chance to date me.

In my last year of high school I found a new male friend and I was worried he would get confused about us, but as the time passed our friendship was still the same.  I was really happy I could finally have a male friend, but I suspected it was because he might be gay.  Just a few months ago he told me he's gay so now I get why we're still good friends.

I remember not too long ago a friend said I friendzoned him in such a nice way he couldn't even feel bad.  It was funny to hear that, since he said it seemed like I had experience in friendzoning and he wasn't wrong.

Today an old friend asked me to date him and I was pretty shocked.  His ex-girlfriend is my friend, so the only idea of dating him was strange. It took a while to make him understand we could only be friends because he's very persistent.

I don't know if I'm giving my male friends a wrong impression or if I'm being too nice to them.  Anyways, I've found that is very awkward and nowadays I'm trying to be careful of how I treat my male friends.  I hope to find more good male friends in the future.

Thanks in advance for your corrections and comments.
