TOEIC

I want to try to take a TOEIC because I'm not sure of how well I know English OR "because I want to test my abilities in English". However, at the same time,  I'm afraid to take the test at the same time because if I couldn't don't ("couldn't" is past tense and since you haven't taken the test yet, you have to write in future tense) score good high enough, I'll feel down discouraged/disheartened.
Recently, I've been thinking about applying to take then test on the to apply from Internet.
