Letter of thanks

Dear John,
I am writing to say tell you how much fun I had fun in New York last weekend. I had never visited New York previously and I liked it so much. I liked so much this city I had never visited previously. This letter is to thank you for your hospitality.
Your family is fantastic and little John, your baby son, is very amusing. It was a really good idea to visit New York, its facilities<not sure what you mean by this word. "Public services" maybe? and skycrapers are amazing.
Anyway, thanks again, It was a weekend I´ll never forget.
