In the lyrics of a song they say "이 길 위엔 너 혼자가 아냐"
Why did they say 위엔 instead of 위에?

It's because "위엔", which is short for "위에는", makes more sense.:)
Here "는" as in "위엔" is used to put an emphasis on "위에".
