be -spend time is it the same I spent 3 hours at the pool I was 3 hours at the pool ? or I was at the pool for 3 hours ? thanks

I spent three hours at the pool. I was at the pool for three hours. Remember that the object of "spend" is time (in this example), so "I was three hours at the pool" is the wrong word-order if you choose to use "be".
